Casey serves as Executive Assistant to Associate Vice Chancellor Tamara Cunningham with Global Initiatives, where he manages AVC Cunningham’s calendar and serves as the primary point of contact for inquiries and requests under her purview.
He has supported UC San Diego’s international community for nearly a decade, serving in a variety of roles across the university. Casey spent five years as Office Manager for the International Services and Engagement Office (formerly the International Students & Programs Office), where he supported students and staff through programming, travel coordination, and event planning. He has been in his current role with Global Initiatives since early 2023.
A UC San Diego alumnus, Casey earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy while continuing his work as Office Manager. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new coffee spots around San Diego, attending trivia nights, pursuing creative interests, and spending family time with his cat, Purrlock Holmes.
