What is International Education Week?

Every November, UC San Diego joins hundreds of higher education institutions worldwide to celebrate International Education Week (IEW). IEW is an opportunity to champion the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our mission to develop mutual understanding between cultures in support of a truly global society. For more information, visit the U.S. Department of State's official IEW Website.
UC San Diego's 17th celebration of International Education Week offered a wide-variety of internationally-focused activities and events both in-person and virtually.
