About us
The purpose of the Friends of the International Center is to support international education, to foster friendship, understanding, and cooperation within the international community, and to create a meeting place on the UC San Diego campus for people who share these aims. The Friends logo symbolizes a moving crossroads, a hub of activity where travelers can come together to share their common interest in and knowledge about each other's countries. We invite you to become a member of our community and support our mission.

Important Announcement & Updated Programming Schedules
Friends of the International Center is monitoring and responding to new information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and, in keeping with recommendations by UC San Diego and our paramount concern for everyone’s health, has adopted the following schedule through July 1, 2020, and/or until further guidance has been provided.
Friends is offering a number of its programs virtually, so if you are interested in any of the programs listed below, please email icfriends@ucsd.edu and indicate which program(s) you would like to join and links with passwords will be emailed to you.
